Features Tour 5: Template Engine

Less time to customize more focus on your events

How the magic happens

There are two ways in which Ohanah app automagically adapts to your site: Design & Layout. For the design part, Ohanah picks parts of the markup code, style and css present in your template and uses it to adjust itself to it, so that it can blend in beautifully. On the layout level, we have developed an innovative way to adapt content and layout to your template by pushing content into module positions. With this approach we didn't had to put everything on the component container but were left free to modularize it, on a true modular architecture. You want to show the attendee list on the right column? The Venue map on the top section? Don't want to show the event gallery? Don't worry, with Ohanah you get full control of it, without having to mess with the code.

Keep your call to actions as powerful as possible

When you think at your events online, and at the time you spent creating their content, selecting the images, and thinking at the registration. In the end it's all about getting people to register. The register button is your final call for action and should be as attractive as possible. Ohanah can use the style provided in your template to automatically skin your buttons or, alternatively, you can create your own in the CSS. Your call to action buttons have never been so sexy before!

Don't be limited to style just modules...

You all know about the module class SFX in Joomla. It is what template providers normally show off in their module variations pages. Why limit these styles to just modules? With Ohanah you can now style the extension as well, creating the most outstanding event integration available. Check out the demo to see it with your own eyes.

The mighty Module Injector: A Joomla revolution

Forget about hidden menus or troubles setting up modules in order to show specific contents on specific positions of your template. With Ohanah Module Injector, contents are dynamically generated as modules for you, and injected in wherever position you like. Is just a matter of deciding what to show where on a specific view (like: event list, single event, registration, category and venue). This also means that when you have setup your site you can easily change its structure and layout by just tweaking the injector settings with few clicks.

Full control on what to display and where

Since version 2.0.3, we have added a cockpit in the backend to allow you to take full control on what to show in the event list, in the single event and even on the modules. Not only we brought back the awesome dynamic date badge layout that was available in the v1, but you can now control almost any aspect and piece of information that ohanah output on your site.
